Using MFT explorer options
To access MFT Explorer Options, select Options from the Tools drop-down menu. You can then modify the following settings:
Connecting to MFT Server
The Connection setting allows you to set the MFT Server URL.
Enter the following details:
- Your company's MFT URL: (i.e., https://emeademo.thruinc.net)
- Your username: (exampleuser@thruinc.com)
- Your password: Use the password you created during your initial account setup.
Synchronizing Sent MFT Folder
The Sent MFT Folder tab allows you to set how often you want the Sent MFT folder to refresh and sync with the MFT server.
The default is five minutes.

The more frequently you set the refresh rate, the more your bandwidth will be used.
MFT Explorer proxy settings
You can access the proxy option by clicking the Proxy Settings tab to access the following options:
- Always use IE proxy settings (not configured)
- Direct connection
- Configure proxy server
These settings should be left as the default for proper functionality.
