Creating an HTTPS Client Profile in Cloud API Management

The HTTPS Client Profiles page displays a list of HTTPS client profiles created in Cloud API Management. On this page, keys and certificates configured in and managed through Local Edition can be used for HTTPS client authentication.

note

The HTTPS Client Profile applies only to customers using Boomi Cloud API Management - Local Edition 4.0 or higher. If you have questions about the HTTP Client profiles, contact your Boomi Account representative through Boomi Community.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Manage > HTTPS Client Profiles. This opens the HTTPS Client Profiles page.

  2. Click New HTTPS Client Profile. This opens the Create an HTTPS Client Profile pop-up window.

    1. In Profile Name, enter the name for the HTTPS client profile.

    2. Optional: In Description, enter the description for the HTTPS client profile.

    3. In Verify Hostname, enable or disable hostname verification toggle switch. By default, this field is disabled.

    4. In Select an identity, choose an identity for the HTTPS client profile. This identity list shows the list of identities configured by the Boomi Account representative for your area. To configure Identity & Certificates, contact your Boomi Account representative via Boomi Community.

    5. Click Save and close or Save and continue.

      • Selecting Save and close opens the HTTPS client profile page and displays your newly created HTTPS client profile.

      • Selecting Save and continue opens the Create an HTTPS Client Profile pop-up window.

        1. From the Trust stores Unselected list, select a trusted certificate (for example, abc.server.example.com) to add it to the Current list.

        2. Click Save and continue. This opens the HTTPS Client Profiles Settings: <your api name> page. You can modify the settings of the newly created HTTPS profile here.
